Posted: 12 Sep 2010 Delighted to chance upon this youngster in the Broads today, crossing a tarmac track. Showed the kids, much to their delight and helped on it's way. |

Posted: 16 Sep 2010 It tried to block my path y'know -had to hold it down with a garden fork! That'll teach it.... actually quite difficult to pick up from a hard path, I had to surround it with my hands and wait for it to lift its head, getting a finger underneath. Really didn't want to hurt it. Makes me wonder what they eat at this size? |
